v0.9.2 adds a full analytics suite (bot traffic, segments, goals and funnels, annotations, alerts, scheduled reports, Search Console and Meta Ads), signup protection, correct currency and date localization, and a leaner, faster foundation for agents and developers.

Analytics

  • Bot and AI-crawler traffic: see which crawlers and agents visit your site, separately from human traffic.
  • Segments, goals and funnels: save audience segments, match goals on event properties, and build funnels with richer step matching.
  • Annotations: mark launches and incidents directly on charts.
  • Alerts and scheduled reports: get notified when metrics move and receive daily or weekly email summaries.
  • Search Console and Meta Ads: connect Google Search Console and Meta Ads to see search performance and ad spend next to on-site results.

v0.9.0 introduces an append-only settled-money payment ledger, robust checkout retry semantics, refined billing UX, MCP connection improvements, notification clearance capabilities, and extensive documentation and internationalization updates.

Payments and Financial Integrity

  • Append-Only Payment Ledger: Implemented PaymentLedgerEntry to maintain immutable records of settled charges, refunds, and chargeback dispute losses. The ledger survives team deletions and ensures complete financial and tax auditability decoupled from mutable billing records.
  • Checkout Idempotency & Retry: Added rotating providerAttempt identities on CheckoutIntent for definitive session rejections, while preserving idempotency keys across ambiguous or retriable outcomes.
  • Stripe Integration Hardening: Expanded Stripe error taxonomy and handling, improved customer portal session generation, and strengthened subscription verification.
  • Modernized Checkout Feedback: Replaced legacy recovery banners with an inline CheckoutStatusLine component, contextual error guidance, and safe handling under administrative impersonation.

v0.8.0 establishes the first canonical neutral VibeKit customer-template baseline, generating deterministic neutral starter packages from the maintainer repository.

Customer Template

  • Asset & Document Isolation: Customer ZIPs no longer ship the vibekit.dev homepage, VibeKit product/brand/design documents, seller blog/release/legal content, seller-only assets, or seller homepage tests.
  • Foundation Retention: The release retains the reusable VibeKit foundation, Agent Skills, migrations, testing/verification tooling, upgrade tooling, and commercial LICENSE.md.
  • Capability Opt-In: Fresh customer releases begin with authentication, public signup, MCP, billing, AI, analytics, blog, docs, feedback, roadmap, and changelog disabled. Products opt into capabilities only when their requirements need them.
  • Durable Product Knowledge: Fresh releases intentionally do not inherit seller PRODUCT.md, DESIGN.md, docs/BRAND.md, focused product specs, ADRs, or execution plans. Agents create durable product knowledge with the customer as the product earns it.
  • Starter Foundation: The neutral package includes a minimal starter homepage and neutral product manifest so simple sites can remain simple instead of inheriting SaaS infrastructure by default.

v0.5.3 introduces an optional waitlist launch mode, durable checkout intents with payment reconciliation, verified file upload lifecycles, and hardened data retention holds.

v0.2.0 delivers a complete multi-language localization architecture across six languages, automated translation verification tooling, zero-credential sandbox mode, and an in-app notification engine.

Features

  • Multi-Language Architecture & Global Localization:
    • Full native UI translations for Spanish (es), French (fr), Japanese (ja), and Simplified Chinese (zh) alongside German (de) and English (en).
    • Pluggable language configuration in config.ts with interactive LocaleSwitch and cookie-based (NEXT_LOCALE) persistence.

    • bun run agent:i18n: Dedicated CLI auditing UI dictionaries and Fumadocs MDX content with --json and --strict release gates.

v0.1.3 streamlines navigation and documentation while introducing flat URL localization routing and designating DESIGN.md as the visual source of truth.

Improvements

  • Flat Localization Routing: Flat routes without a locale prefix. Locale is stored in the NEXT_LOCALE cookie and legacy locale-prefixed URLs redirect cleanly.
  • Documentation Refresh: Refreshed template documentation across getting started, architecture, auth, teams, payments, email, storage, i18n, UI, analytics, and workflows.
  • Design System Source of Truth: DESIGN.md is now documented as the visual source of truth, customized per deployment.
  • Navigation Simplification: Streamlined marketing header and footer navigation.

Fixes

  • Blog Content: Removed demo blog posts.
  • MDX Step Components: Fixed docs crash on pages using Step blocks (Steps and Step are now provided to MDX).
  • Translation Parity: Removed unused Blog and Changelog menu translation keys.

v0.1.2 introduces zero-credential sandbox mode, machine-parseable agent diagnostics, headless contract and unit tests, and template reconciliation improvements.

Features

  • Zero-Credential Sandbox Mode: Added mock checkout and database subscription sync with MOCK_SERVICES=true, transactional mail trap in .vibekit/mail-trap.json, and mock storage fallbacks.
  • Agent Diagnostics: Added machine-parseable JSON error reports combining Biome linter and TypeScript compiler diagnostics for autonomous AI healing via bun run agent:diagnose.
  • Headless Contract & Unit Test Suite: Fast test suite verifying password security, billing normalization, transactional mail traps, and release catalogs.
  • Template Reconciliation: Upgraded template update workflow with 3-way semantic reconciliation, AST/domain merging, and release archive support.

v0.1.1 improves release build reliability by ensuring content collections are generated before type verification.

Improvements

  • Release Build Pipeline: Configured build workflow to generate content collections prior to running the release type-check.
